So maybe I ought to modify the adelphia role (bta), just to have it at
hand in case I end up still stuck with Adelphia after trying the new ISP
that's supposed to become available?

It does indeed fail whenever I try it, getting an error that complains of
relaying -- I think, in fact, it's Pine itself that refuses to send a
message with those fields not matching.

Yup -- as long as I don't try to fake a reply from Adelphia.

Oh good. The trouble with having them at this point is that Old
Absentminded Beartooth gets lost in them, and can't find a way back to the
