[OS:N:] New to list

I'm new to the list, and in connection with the welcome email....

...currently Senior Systems Programmer at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.  I've
worked on various Unices since 1993, with an enduring interest in Linux
since 1995.  I became interested in the public policy of Linux when I
started to work with the public sector as a consultant about 5 years ago.  I
also volunteer as a DBA/Linux admin for a local non-profit where I've built
and maintain an Apache/MySQL/PHP client database, so that also carries my
interest in public sector use of Linux.
