Dear Les,

Late last night you said you were bowing out of our discussion. I have 
since not replied to your posts. It seems that we have both made our 
positions quite clear on this list. It is obvious that we disagree. 
Repeating our positions over and over will only clog the list with more 
noise.

I concur with your bowing out and, in the interest of reducing the noise 
level,  have done the same. Therefore, I refer you to my earlier posts 
which should explain my position quite clearly. If you need further 
clarification, Paul posted something this AM at 8:25 EDT under the 
subject of "IP begs the question" that elaborated a positon I support 
more fully than I did on this list and even provided links to articles 
that develop the arguments even more fully. While I do not expect that 
you will agree with them, I hope these that references will: (1) answer 
your questions related to of the anti IP positon; and (2) give you a 
better understanding of the anti IP positon.
