First of all, thanks for your exquisite patience with a non native
English speaker.

In the second place, I found again my Random House Webster after your
first post. I read "parse" as "to analyze" or "describe". OK. In spite
of this, I found your explanations (I'll not say your ideas yet) even
more confused, or at least vague, than the original message.

When it comes to music, I have already explained why the "I can copy
whatever I want, however I want" attitude is immature and can only
backfire, however correct its phylosophical foundations are. Please
read those posts on this list's archive, last three or four days.

About the "It's my computer. Cut it out" assertion: if it is so, it
also applies to my computer and to any original content *I* put in
it. Even in this case, I have already explained here in detail what I
consider dead wrong in the current system, and what limited control I
think should remain guaranteed to *authors*, not to multinationals.
Please read those posts as well. Same archive, same period.

Once you have done it, please do come back and make some specific
practical example of parsing that you want to do and that the original
legislation or DRM would prohibit.

Thank you in advance,

      Marco Fioretti
