Omar Even if that were true, (which i doubt) you don't *need* to use RHN. It's very convenient if you do, but you can just download the packages from updates.redhat.com (or a mirror), put all the ones you need on a CD and use 'rpm --freshsen *.rpm' if you don't want to pay.
