I finally had my meeting with the local community college dean. They are interested in providing a series of several open source classes. I need 8 or 9 things to teach for ~ 3 hours apiece...that will have an appeal to a broad audience where most people use Windows. I have a plan to teach: Open Office - Writer Open Office - Calc Open Office - Impress Parent/Kids - Tux Paint (Others? Likely - Considering making a kids knoppix distro) Graphics Basics - Intro to gimp and 3D rendering Graphics Advanced - Advanced gimp and 3D rendering (more tips/tricks) So that's 6 of the 8 things. Does anyone have some input on this? I was thinking maybe an Intro to Open Source and Linux...but wasn't sure if that shouldn't be a marketing thing to introduce the classes to the community. -Chris "As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air, however slight, lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness." - Supreme Court Justice William O.
