I previously made recommendations for MySQL and Python and/or Perl based on the same idea: cross-platform. So that seems to be the theme for most of the replies. I figure by now, most of the folks taking a class like this aren't going to be too challenged by a web browser or e-mail program. Then again, if you get into all the fancy extensions you can add to Mozilla/Firebird/Thunderbird, it could be a lot of fun. -- Kevin Cole | Key ID: 0xE6F332C7 Gallaudet University | WWW: http://gri.gallaudet.edu/~kjcole/ Hall Memorial Bldg S-419 | V/TTY: (202) 651-5135 Washington, D.C. 20002-3695 | FAX: (202) 651-5746 _______________________________________________ Subscription and Archive: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/open-source-now-list/ - For K12OS technical help join K12OSN: <https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/k12osn>
