I don't know what they do with it. I've got a large box full of old small/obsolete/faulty hard drives. That's even trickier, because some may have data we can't allow to fall into the wrong hands. I was hoping to put together a shooting event using hard drives as the targets...but at the moment, that's not looking promising. I hate throwing stuff like that out too, but at some point, a machine with limited CPU, limited RAM, and limited disk space / i/o just isn't worth keeping around. I suppose if they're not too slow, and too low on RAM, you could deploy them as DNS caches...but how many of those do you really need? > We're not supposed to just throw it all in the dump, but what else can > we do.
