The State of Minnesota now requires anything with a circuit board to be recycled. Schools won't take anything that isn't very recent in most cases. My current employer recycles quite a few pallets of electronics twice a year. I recently removed an obsolete board from a Sun server. In the past I would have put it into the trash, but I had to take it to be recycled. I'm hoping you folks are recycling stuff and not just trashing it even though it costs a little bit.
