There are several recovery/recyclers in the Austin area, but it may  
not be worth shipping stuff to them :-(

http://www.imagemicro.com/ is the largest.  They take complete  
systems (computers, routers, switches, printers, access points, etc)  
in and spit out tested systems, boards and parts for the used market  
and ground up plastic, steel and circuit boards for further recycling.
