the web site www.mail2web.com seems to be a plus for many users who want to check their email remotely....we have been promoting it for years. Recently, I ended up using it to check one of my many email accounts that I keep quite private. I have kept the address quite private for over four years to prevent it from being a victim of spam. Low and behold I have started to get spam to that email address now. Some of our users have started to complain that they, who only use the Internet for email, have started to get spam after returning from vacation. Those same people would have used a relatives computer to manage their email with mail2web as well. Is it fair to say that mail2web either sells email addresses by capturing them from their smtp servers or are spammers somehow harvesting the email addresses from mail2web?
