Thanks! Personally I'd not touch 1&1, Fasthosts, nor any of the other "pile 'em high, sell 'em cheap" operations. I do a lot of work on dedicated servers at Bytemark (www.bytemark.co.uk) and am very pleased with them. I've also seen plenty of technical people recommend their virtual machines.
