In our case, if you figure power at a conservative 10 cents per kwh to make
it easy then -- $.10 x  80 amps x 24 hours x 30 days  = $5760 ..  That is
for six racks..  Add in cooling costs and you can start to see where the
money goes..

Well our power bill for our own data center here in Denver just doubled over
the past 4 months. They may be hedging their bets. There may also be less
competition where you are..
