We are using Amanda and instead of doing a local tape we went with the option of using Amazon S3.Cheaper then any tape and works like a virtual tape changer so you can have as many tapes as you want all depending on how much space you want to use in the cloud. And yes it will gzip and encrypt the data before it leaves your system and gets put into Amazon. Derrick Keith wrote: > Looking for recommendations on a tape drive.
