Catastrophic Failure
Since SORBS operates as a single-point of failure and the only recourse is 
within the system, it is susceptible to catastrophic failure. This occurred 
in Oct 2010 when a change-over to a new server caused millions of legitimate 
emails to be rejected.[15]

I do not recall anywhere in ISPA code of conduct where ISP's are forced to 
use defined rbl's
