and yet the results at the end of the day is that we do have an opt-out
registry and different people /orgs /companies offering (and even reasoning)
why they would be best suited to run/control/admin such an ill conceived
registry where victims of common theft have to list themselves to beg and
plead with direct marketers not to steal their money again.

So, actually, I am very disapointed that certain direct marketing is still
legal but I do understand that my rant could be compared to urinating 
in public and against a strong wind, certainly in terms of the results 
thereof in terms of tastefulness, achievement etc.
