Dear Vodacom,

Would you be so kind to shake the tree and allow the abuse department to
fall out. A functioning abuse department if possible.

It is a real struggle to browse the Internet (specifically local sites) on
your Internet APN only to find that large netblocks are null routed by other
South African ISPs due to a non existing Abuse Department within your
company.

Emails to abuse@vodacom|vodamail, postmaster@vodacom|vodamail seems to be a
black hole and your network are open for any spammer to use without the
worry of breaching any AUP.

The word is obviously out there that either you do not care about helping to
keep the Internet clean or you do not have the resources, maybe not even the
skills to handle abuse queries. You are definitely not that special not to
act on abuse matters. It certainly makes sense that other ISPs are blocking
you. Why should they waste any time/resources cleaning up when you dont
bother to keep your own users at bay.

Maybe it is time to stop worrying about other cell providers and their
marketing antics and clean up your backyard.

Regards

Michael
