Hi all,

Just to let you know that the saga has had a positive outcome in both
respects.

Somayya Akhalwaya from the Office of the Group executive, picked up the
thread from IOZ and dealt with it. Although I was apprehensive about the
matter initially, I was pleasantly surprised in the sum of the
correspondence with her.

The subscriber has had her money refunded by MTN (and possibly even more
than she had lost, I'm not sure). The service provider was Miranet and she
was subscribed to GimbaGames without a signup record existing.

As to my complaint that no statement of account is available to pre-paid
MTN subscribers, I have received a guarantee that this has been passed on
to the prepaid and executive team for consideration.

I must commend Somayya for having done a sterling job by handling the
matter in professional, yet friendly manner.

So in the end the score is MTN 1 : Subscriber 1 which is a good result imho.

Roland

regards

Roland
