Hi Are list subscribers aware that their IOZ postings are being archived on gmane.org, compete with their email addresses? Some postings of mine are there, complete with my email address that anyone can see. I don't object to the postings, but I do not like my email address to be on a public forum. Maybe others share my view? Go to http://search.gmane.org/?author=Mike+Lawrie&sort=date and click on any of the "mlawrie" links. To me this is not a desirable situation whatsoever, viz that my email address is visible to all and sundry, and worse that it is done without my consent. It's one thing that folk who are IOZ subscribers can read my email address, seeing that steps have been taken to stop harvesting of such addresses, but it is quite another thing that it is open to all and sundry.
