Dear industry representatives

Registration has opened for the most anticipated annual event on the South
African Internet industry calendar. By registering at
http://www.iweek.org.za/ you will be able to attend iWeek at no charge.
Registration is, however, mandatory to be able to attend iWeek.

Co-hosted by the ZA Central Registry (ZACR) and the Internet Service
Providers' Association (ISPA), a highlight of iWeek this year is the fact
that Cory Doctorow will be speaking at the event in September. Cory is, of
course, the globally-renowned science fiction author, activist, journalist
and blogger.

ISPA has confirmed Chris Althaus, CEO of the Australian Mobile
Telecommunications Association; Juanita Clark of the Fibre to the Home
Council; Malcolm Kirby, CEO of Metro Fibre Networks; as well as social media
guru and change speaker, Ryan Hogarth.

This year's instalment of South Africa's premier Internet industry event
will be held from 09 to 12 September 2013 at Thaba Ya Batswana, Impala Road,
Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Johannesburg. Additional valued partners
include the ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA), the Internet Society - South
African Chapter (ISOC-ZA), the Wireless Access Providers' Association (WAPA)
and the Fibre to the Home Council (FTTH-C).

iWeek offers a great opportunity for exposure and there are still some
sponsorship packages available. Cyberoam Technologies, the global IT
security company with deployments in more than 125 countries, has taken one
of the Gold sponsorships. ISPA is also delighted to have Liquid Telecom and
Broadband Infraco back as Silver sponsors. Vox Telecom has supported iWeek
almost since its inception and together with Miro and Scoop Distribution has
also signed up as an event sponsor.

This year’s event will see a number of training sessions running in parallel
to discussions, and include IPv6, IPv6 for Managers, Internet Number
Resource training as well as training from Team Cymru. In addition to this,
ZADNA together with ZACR will co-host a domain name industry day.

You are encouraged to register at your earliest convenience at:
http://www.iweek.org.za/. A draft programme is available at:
http://www.iweek.org.za/programme-2013/

Potential sponsors can contact Elaine Zinn at [email protected] or
telephone 010 500 1200 / +27 83 327 480.

Please share this notification with your employees and other interested
parties. With your valued support, iWeek 2013 will be just as insightful,
interesting and well-attended as previous years!

Kind regards,
The Events Working Group
