Re: IPv6 ready ISPs?

My (small) input. On Ipv6 readiness regards za ISP's needs the following:

  1:) A CEO with the balls to make it so.
  2.) A CTO who knows the difference between a mac adress and an ip version
six address.
  3.) A CFO who understands why investing money in this "new" tech is
viable for CO.
  4.) A Senior marketing and sales manager who knows what they actually
selling.
  5.) A Senior support manager who knows how to train first and second
level support to recognize
       Ipv6 problems, this means more competent staff, refer to p3.
  6.) Oh, and a few decent sys admins, it takes less than a minute for two
sysadmins
       who know their shit to get things done when dealing with each other,
introduce all
       the above, then it becomes years.

   Answer in .za: None .. but plenty who will give you a "tunnel".

   However !!! South Africa has broken a lot of ground with tech, maybe
   by some miracle we will with Ipv6.
