Is this the type of Internet people want? Do people want to push towards an intranet (like China) or a state Internet, like Russia or the USA model or EU model or what? The problem is with current legislation in SA and us (society) we do not offer much in terms of this type of "bullying", where the publication is accurate but not complete. Nothing forces mybraodband.co.za to have balanced or even accurate reporting and nothing protects my privacy to the extent that I can demand a takedown. We do not have adequate laws in South Africa to deal with Internet and privacy issues like this as it is unique to the Internet. In the EU they have altered privacy protection laws to force Google to remove search engine results like this. In SA, this is perfectly fine. Until this happens to you, and you lose jobs and contracts because of this type of behavior. We do not have proper privacy protection in South Africa and it seems as if many people are either ignorant of that or simply do not care. They do not even care that they are ignorant - this seems to be the latest new and fashionable thing in SA - accepting your own ignorance.
