Andre if you went to the media as has been suggested, they would chew you
up and spit you out, or worse, write a negative story about you and cause
you even _more_ bad publicity. And you know what? They would be right.
Let's do a 'what if' here (since you enjoy them so much) and pretend Jane
from Brainstorm commissions me to write your story for the March issue.
This is what would happen (*):

- I would read the MyBroadBand post and see nothing slanderous. All I see
is people not even caring who you are. Not a good start.
- Then I would count up your insults to that forum over what is actually a
non-issue.
- Then I would count up your insults to this forum over the same non-issue.
- Then I would read the blog post you linked to in your defence. And all it
is is someone complaining they didn't get a golf cap therefore Rudolph is
evil. So far I'm not on your side at all.
- Then I would recall that you are the same Andre Coetzee who got banned by
Oskar from GLUG in 2009 for threatening all of us with legal action. I know
this well because I've also been a member of GLUG for goodness knows how
long, probably since its inception. And this conversation here on IOZ looks
strikingly similar to that one then: you alternating between insulting
people and then wondering why you get negative reactions.
- Just for a lark I would go to the other MyBroadBand thread where you post
a couple of outright lies when defending yourself.
Lie #1: You were never a cybersquatter. Except you did squat the
mandela.co.za domain and Morgan caught you doing it:

Lie #2. "I was never banned by Glug democratically but by Oscar Pearson,
this caused a split in the community and if you look at how a very
important list or group like Glug have devolved in value over the past few
years since I was banned, I have been vindicated anyway." False - it didn't
cause a split. I was there. I remember. And yeah, you were banned by the
group. Oh, and GLUG is doing just fine by the way. When I look at those old
names and think of what all those people are doing now and how successful
they've been, it makes me happy.

So tell us again: why were you arrested? And why should we believe you?


(*) Wouldn't happen of course - mailing list rules and I would have to
recuse myself anyway.
