it is reasonable.

but, a few weeks ago, when the last deadline  / expected date - was not
met and there was no information, feedback or even a new expected date

this was not reasonable, surely by your own standards?

being ignored, when someone is being paid, VERY WELL, to do something
and they do not do it - is not right.
