    Achievements:
    * Designed and implemented large scale BGP system spanning several
countries in Latin and Central America. Implementation based on
Juniper M20 routers and Cisco 7200 series.
    * Designed and implemented routing policy system controlled via
usage of BGP communities allowing control over several thousands
prefixes from multiple sources (IFX originated, customers,
multiple NAP peers, private peers, transit providers).
    * Designed and tested system allowing differentiation of QoS
policies based on BGP communities. It allows IFX to offer
differentiated bandwidth pricing for national vs. international
bandwidth. Cisco CEF forwarding table was augmented with use of
      QPPB.
    * Designed and implemented NetFlow data collection system gathering
statistics from multiple Cisco and Juniper boxes. Analyzed
collected data for peering suitability. Used NetFlow data for
multiple Denial of Service attack identification and prevention.
Implementation included fine tuning of Linux kernel to run the
      caida.org cflow deamon optimally.
    * Designed and implemented multilayered network based on ATM
transport and MPLS switching capable to deliver services ranging
from TDM (CES) up to IP MPLS L2 VPNs. ATM switches used for this
solution were mixture of Nortel Passport 15K, Nortel Passport
      7480, and cisco Lightstream 1010.
    * Implemented QoS on selected circuits of IFX core and edge.
Designed and programmed verification tools for testing QoS
conformance. In order to save resources, programmed Linux traffic
generator and receiver, mimicking functionality of Smartbit tool.
    * Designed and implemented IFX Datacenter distribution network
implemented on L2/L3 Nortel 8610 GigE/100BaseT switches. Migrated
legacy firewalls to Cisco PIX redundant firewalls. Assisted in
implementation of IPSec tunnels between different company
locations, and VPN termination on Cisco PIX.
    * Evaluated several traffic shaping products/technologies. Designed
and performed experiments evaluating performance differences
between Packeteer, Cisco IOS, Alteon, and Free BSD traffic shaping
      techniques.
    * Designed and implemented specialized Network Performance
Monitoring system, based on SNMP protocol. Implementation included
Perl programming (~10000 Lines), utilizing UCD SNMP asynchronous
libraries as a front end, and RRD libraries as a CGI presentation
      layer.
    * Deployed first stage of IFX VoIP network utilizing Cisco IOS VoIP
technologies. In later stages of the project, Open H.323 protocol
stack and applications were tested and used.
    * Trained and lead international team of engineers during
