I don't understand compute and storage beyond nominal amounts in carrier hotels. That's what suburban, exurban, tier 2 cities are for. The hyperscalers have been building in corn fields states away from tier 1 markets for a decade. Sure, Akamai, Cloudflare, Google, etc. probably have large clusters for carrier hotels in tier 1s, but Cermak is a big building. They can't use up *THAT* much of it. We had the same customer not get renewed in Frankfurth last year and now in Ashburn this week. They are clearing out suites to lease to hyperscale customers. I totally understand the business decision on their side, but I think this will become more common place in the future.
