Larry, Maybe, I am not sure the Nanog group has the same people, but some university students are working on it. I have one thing I am trying to finish. But let me ask you, I assume you run a pretty big network. And likely on 10.x.x.x as thats what everyone does. How much more convenient would it be to segment networks by internal ASN number I chose 127.x.x.x as local network. 127.<department>.<region>.floor. == 10 Billion IP addresses. Everything would be secured, isolated, managed, auditable.
