hmmm. I am not so sure. My pppoeconf did not put in an ``auto eth0
<whatever>'' directive in /etc/network/interfaces - It was put in
there by debian's installer script.
I tried using the client - natserver configuration, and had remobed
pppoeconf and friends, and the eth0 stanza put in by debian's
installer. Once I switched back to modem mode again, pppoeconf did not
create the eth0 stanza.
Is that a bug in pppoeconf? of am I missing something?
