sfd - volunteers please!!!

Hi folks!!!

Softwware freedom  day is around  the corner, and Vivek  has announced
the venue - Girinagar club hall.

Vivek will be doing some demos of applications, and we are looking for
some hardware  running GNU/Linux. Volunteers in  and around Girinagar,
vytilla, Gandhi nagar, girinagar, kadavanthara, etc., willing to allow
use of their brand new,  shining, ultrafast systems, with fancy gizmos
- CD/DVD writers, cordless keyboards,  blue tooth dongles, usb sticks,
digi/web cams,  etc, running on GNU/Linux, should  please come forward
and post replies to  this list and also tell us if  you will bring the
system to the venue on your own or whether we should pick it up.

If you are a h/w vendor, (and  if others on the list do not object) we
certainly can display some of your wares, provided they come with full
support for the drivers, etc. and provide you some banner space too.

We also  need some financial help -  to pay the hall  rent, PA system,
help transporting the PCs to  and fro, etc. (people willing to provide
a four  wheeler(s) -- with fuel of  course -- for the  purpose too are
welcome !!!)

Any other help / issue we have not foreseen is also welcome.
