We have the hall booked for the whole day, though our event is scheduled from 2.30-6.30 PM. I am open to sugessions for extending the time from morning to 2.30 P.M (In case some one can come forward to demo something during that time slot), but i cannot extend the event beyond 6.30 PM as i'll have to travel to Malapurram the same night to provide a training session on GNU/Linux for some hardware vendors there. Vimal and Dileep have graciously agreed to donate Rs 250/ each. Any one willing to sponsor the expenses of the hall, Rs 600/- (a part of it or the whole amount), and the guest speaker's travel (Rs 580/ one way approx) by Shama Travels are welcome. I can sponsor the guest speaker's stay in Cochin and incur a part of the expense for the hall. Anirudth, can you inform a few schools nearby about the event ? , maybe team up with Titty and print a few posters (the cost of one poster comes up to around Rs 20/-) and put them up at MEC, and also invite a few intrested folks from there. I am told there is a place opposite the Ernakulam Town Hall called "Computer Park" that prints posters. Again *anyone* willing to undertake the poster job cum public relations are most welcome. Just don't forget to inform everyone via the list about your plans. ;-) Anyone intrested please contact me off list for my phone number. I'll be free *mostly* after 8.30 PM. In case you wish to contact Mahesh via phone i suggest mailing him offlist for his number. -- Vivek Varghese Cherian Free as in Freedom <www.gnu.org>
