if u use debian it have an option to install all gstreamer
packages.for other distros  get gstreamer-OSS rpms..if after
installing gst-plugins prblm persists try running in CLI:"cosmic:~#
gst-register-0.8"Best of Lux..b/w what version of ALSA and which
distro are U using?for 915 hda audio to work better get alsa>=1.0.9 as
it contains snd-hda replacing the older snd-azx,azalia..
