If you can get to me on the details of the type of sensor, I can tell you
more.  Usually now the swipe method is used instead of putting the finger
and getting a print and then sensing the ridges.  A new method is used
wherein even the swipe mark gets wiped off so please give more info on
what type of metric you intend to use in your project.
