not able to run installed programs

Hi,

I had installed the program called crack by doing an apt-get. But when
I run crack at a terminal, it says there is nothing called crack. Even
type crack does not work. When i do apt-get again, i get this.

root@sirius:/home/syd# apt-get install crack
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
crack is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 47 not upgraded.
root@sirius:/home/syd#

and when i run it, i get this.

root@sirius:/home/syd# crack
bash: crack: command not found
root@sirius:/home/syd#
