[prp-stg1] png, odt figured out

Dear friends,

i got past my lazy stage, did some  'rtfm' , and have found out:
a)  png  is lossless storage of a graphic, and happily i have it on my
-M- system.
So i should be able to attach proposal in that mode.

Though, if a  .png  graphic is being allowed, why not  .gif  or others ?


b) odt  seems to be desired because it is of  the FOSS type s/w, vs. say Acrobat
Reader that is proprietary.  Linux's OpenOffice suite etc. operate
with this stuff.
Anyway i am making this assumption on the demand for  odt .
