Right now, only Inscript lay out is available for GNU/linux. The
English layout for Malayalam input is not created yet. However, you
can install scim or skim (depending on whether you run Gnome or KDE,
and create your own layout. Please contribute back your layout to the
community, if you can, coz so many people are looking for the
transliteration layout.
