May be you could go ahead and finish 100% as tally has a version for
GNU/Linux but data migration is a risk, I agree. They have a free data
migration when you do the version upgrade

I read somewhere they had released it but google could show only the

Switching rapidly between buttons in Tally Linux

If you toggle continuously between the buttons on the *Button Bar* while
working on Tally, it does not cause any inconvenience now.
