Last July I volunteered to take over the maintenance of the KDE i18n Howto
from Thomas Diehl. I would like to apologise to him, Lukas Tinkl and others
for the delay in fulfilling my promise, but the Welsh translation of KDE got
in the way :-)

Nevertheless, a proof-of-concept of the new framework of the Howto is now
online at:
http://www.kdonnelly.com/kde

The current contents mostly consist of the old Howto (minus the links!), but I
have begun adding a few things, and this process will continue, alongside a
larger rearrangement of the material into a more "timeline-based" structure.
The main feature of the online version is that (in a somewhat similar way to
a wiki, but more structured) people can add their own material, which is in
fact essential on issues (like Docs) on which I know absolutely nothing,
since I haven't reached that stage yet with Welsh.

What I would be grateful for at this stage is comments on the
proof-of-concept, and particularly any operational problems with it that
emerge as you try to add material. (You can send them to me off-list if you
prefer.) Please read the Background page first to get some, er, background
on the app.

Best wishes

Kevin Donnelly
