But even the Akruti fonts seem to have problems. The gnu.org.in home
page used to carry a clarification dated 12 May, 2003,
saying :--

still carries the  above fonts. I home I am wrong  here, and that both
FSF-India  and  SMC  are  not  distributing the  fonts  whose  use  is
expressly  discouraged   by  FSF-India  itself.  SMC   seems  to  have
converted the  above two files  to OTF and  is distributing them  as a
file named AkrutiMal2Normal.ttf.

I  hope that  I  am wrong  here  too. But  the  a md5sum  verification
validates the file on FSF-I's server.

Ah!! Seems we are going to have a flame war elsewhere on this.
