Re: [indoexpat-uk] Maths pupils in England two years behind Chinese by age 16

Memang kalau diadu top Uni di Indonesia and top Uni di UK, ya kita masih
jauh kalah.
Kalau SMA, saya tidak yakin deh. Sebab yg pernah saya baca beberapa kali
anak SMA Indonesia jadi juara math olympics. Tapi belum pernah dengar UK
jadi juara (1,2 atau 3). Yg sering dengar dari Belanda, Russia.
Apa artinya UK math utk under 16 juga lebih rendah dari Belanda? Kalau
benar, tidak ada excuse lagi ttg social skill, khan sama sama western
culture.
Kalau saya lihat, bukan nya pintar atau tidak pintar, tetapi di sini
sepertinya under 16 sangat dimanja, tidak pernah diperkenalkan dgn stress.
