This, unlike PRISM has a much more manageable scale. Plain old
packet-capture and deep-packet-inspection will do the trick, and is a well
solved problem, for as long as they have tap-offs at every network
ingress/egress point.

Anyway, we have a cap on the cryptographic strength (and thus the
algorithmic complexity required to do a brute-force crack of the
communication flow), for the data channels. Not sure if they have anything
figured out with the likes of Skype or application level cryptography, for
software providers who do not have a registered office in India, but if
Big-Tau is intent on watching somebody, they can send the gestapo to if
they figure out that they cannot crack your comm link but sense comm
underway.
