DoT's security lab to test telco equipment

After talks with Tech Mahindra [1] and Wipro [1] failed to materialize, DoT
is going ahead to set up the lab by itself, with help from IISc. From what
it seems, the funding model could not be resolved with both the companies
(Wipro quoted around Rs. 275-300 Crore, while department had allocated Rs.
100 Crore during the 12th Plan.)
