Re: hello 3G, goodbye 3G?

I ported from Vodafone to Airtel to avail their 3G services.
I would recommend a voice + data plan on a phone instead of carrying a
separate dongle.
The funny thing is that the 3G speeds are pretty inpredictable.
Yesterday for example, I was astonished to see download speeds of close to
11 Mbps on my 3G connection. Today it came back to the usual 4 Mbps.
In densely populated ares where everybody carries a smartphone, it can drop
so badly that it will even fail the ping test.
