1) I have HUGE problems with UIDAI, and hardly any problems with NPR.

2) "bio-metrics" was thrust upon NPR/MHA/RGI by the "haramis"

CONFIRMED in RTI:

1) AADHAR is not used to AUTHENTICATE things like LPG Gas subsidies.
It is only an identifier for a bank and the OMC to "match" the number
between themselves. <lol> I sense a Rs. 50,000 CRORE OMC SCAM in
election time.

2) There is no way to delete an UID number once allocated

3) There is no way to delete the biometric and other details of a
citizen who wants to "opt out" of AADHAR

4) There is no official record maintained of who Aadhaar data is
shared with, or when it is shared.

PS: I sincerely request GII readers to IGNORE all the tamasha in the
Supreme Court and the media hype which invariably results from SC
directions. The SC is very much a part of the triangular framework and
their orders invariably have unpleasant hidden consequences which are
not apparent to the mango people at first blush.
