Both the CPI(M) & CPI(ML) have this issue in their manifestoes. So far, nobody else, AFAIK.

Just in case it's news on this list, I am totally against both schemes, being antediluvian artefacts of an earlier era when digital wizardry was not pervasive. They strike at the heart of the Constitution, barely concealed attempts to unleash the worst excesses of totalitarian and autocratic regimes on our fledgling democracy. As we well know here, there are other subtly damaging moves being made, such as the telephone and email interception infrastructure being set in place.

The Court order is an encouraging step towards affirmation of this nation's commitment to democracy, given Parliament's total failure to legislate protection for people resident in India.

I am hopeful that the Court will continue to make explicit the fundamental principles, in further decisions on the ongoing cases before it, amongst which is one filed by a group of individuals in which I am included. Our case has not yet been heard, btw.
