Re: DND Sharing of phone number

Particularly about goons landing up at the door step :-)

My experience with DND is mixed - on the whole once I have registered for
DND with the SP the  spam calls have dropped sharply. In some case where I
have registered for DND with some other kind of service provide (like
Satellite TV etc) they have called once to clarify that I have registered
for DND with them,  which would mean they cannot call even when my
subscription etc runs out, after saying yes they have been pretty good in
not sending spam or calling.

However one nasty number 57171 refuses to go away - there is no information
on who they are , and how they "subscribed me" consequently every week i
end up paying Rs 1 for "personality tips" their de-subscribe message number
replies back with Invalid Request.

So just like the goons can get hold of our information, i wonder if there
is a way of getting information about the spam thugs so that we could
release some law at them.
