Could someone who is registered on the COAI site or knows someone at the
office, find out for us what were the questions asked, how was the survey
conducted, and politely point out that 40 million responses in 10 days with
no publicity seems impossible.... Oh, and please also explain to them what
net neutrality means?

The reason AT&T went bankrupt was the expectation that they produce
unrealistic quarterly results. The example does not apply in this
discussion, IMO.

The problem is the outmoded approach of some telcos. I bet there are plenty
of telcos around the world who live profitably from data revenues in a
world of smart phones. I wish India's telcos would spend more effort on
providing international quality data service, both fixed and mobile, than
on trying to get every IP telephony software developer to buy a
ridiculously expensive license.
