In my opinion Sarabjit's conduct has been most disruptive and his DNA can hardly be changed. I support Mahesh's concern and take Sarabjit's dropping from the list a reasonable measure under rare circumstances. In this case, i support Udhay abd Suresh. I always look at Vikram as the voice of wisdom and regret he supported overruling his fellow moderators!

Udhay and I are, effective immediately, stepping down as moderators of the india-gii mailing list.



The recent suspension of Sarabjit Roy from the list for what we both believe to be valid reasons has not met with agreement from the other moderators - who are now considering reinstating him with a warning.



In Udhay’s and my views though, the case warranted removal of Mr.Roy from the list and that is the action we took.



If you have any concerns with, or alternatively, if you support, Mr.Roy being reinstated to the mailing list, please feel free to - as you prefer -

It has been an interesting 15+ years helping to moderate this list.
