I believe wireline data is way to expensive here in India. And argument that I heard in the past was - this is because we've to pay for very expensive International bandwidth and hence the cost, but at the moment - I believe most of the data a 'consumer' is likely to consume - would be quite local here in India (that's just a hunch though), Akamai is here , Youtube is here, that should take care of most of the data anyways. So not sure why the cost is so high for wireline data? <snipped to end>
