Wireline data has increased in bandwidth and decreased in cost at a fairly rapid clip.

Still fairly expensive but I can get 40 Mbps for Rs. 1300 - about $20 a month.   And 100 Mbps for less than double that amount.

In the mid 90s I’d have paid all that for 40 Kbps.
