I use 4G on Airtel, and it is profoundly unsettling to see the signal cycle
from 4G to H (for HSDPA, I assume) to E (Edge) to nothing down one stretch
of a five km road in central Delhi. It's much worse in the boondocks.

If you stand very still below a mobile tower and if the prevailing wind is
just right, 4G works quite well in parts of Delhi.
